Privacy Policy

This policy describes what information ThatDesignUI collects when you use the site, how it’s used, and the choices you have. It applies to thatdesignui.com and the account features on it.

Information we collect

When you create an account, we collect:

• Your name and email address.
• A password, if you sign up with email and password — this is never stored in plain text; it’s hashed before being saved.
• If you choose to sign in with Google or GitHub instead, we receive the basic profile information (name, email, avatar) those providers share when you authorize the connection — we don’t see your password for either.
• Account preferences you set, such as locale and timezone.

We also automatically receive standard technical information any web server sees — your IP address, browser type, and request logs — used only for security, debugging, and keeping the service running.

Cookies

ThatDesignUI uses one essential cookie: a secure, HTTP-only session cookie that keeps you signed in. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies of any kind — there’s simply no analytics script running on this site today.

“Saved” items on the catalog are stored locally in your browser, not on our servers, and aren’t tied to your account or shared with anyone.

How we use your information

• To create and maintain your account, and keep you signed in.
• To operate the catalog and its features.
• To communicate with you about your account or the service, when necessary.
• To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Who we share information with

We rely on a small number of infrastructure providers to run the service:

• Our cloud database and file-storage providers, to store your account and catalog data.
• Google or GitHub, only if you choose to sign in through them — we don’t share your data with them beyond what that sign-in requires.

None of these providers are permitted to use your information for their own purposes — they store and process it on our behalf.

ThatDesignUI does not currently process payments. If paid plans launch, this policy will be updated before that happens to describe our payment processor and what information that involves.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us via the Contact page.

Your rights

You can review and update your name and email from your account settings at any time. You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by contacting us.

Children’s privacy

ThatDesignUI is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

Security

We use standard security practices — encrypted connections, hashed passwords, and access controls on our infrastructure — to protect your information. No method of storing or transmitting data is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of ThatDesignUI after a change means you accept the updated policy.
